Mexican Drug Cartel Vows Revenge Against Gov't

The powerful Next Generation drug cartel, which operates out of the Mexican state of Jalisco, reportedly released a recording vowing to take revenge against the government for the massacre of 42 of its gunmen in the adjacent state of Michoacan a week ago. Although the authenticity of the recording has not been verified, the Attorney General was sufficiently concerned to call an emergency meeting to consider the adoption of special security measures. teleSUR
