The journalist Fred Melo Paiva, throws himself into the peripheral worlds of Brazilian sub cultures and contemporary polemics to test his values to the limit and see if he can ‘do as they do.’ This is provocative observation made with good humour and humanity towards the series’ contributors, in an attempt to achieve intimacy and in depth access that is intent on surprising the audience. Program themes include the evangelical church, pornography, Mixed Martial Arts, populist political campaigns, private detective agencies, magic, doppelgangers to the famous, exorcism and others.
