A third person has died on Monday after a drunken driver allegedly plowed into a crowd of people at South By Southwest music festival in Austin last Thursday.

The third victim that has died from injuries sustained in last week's South By Southwest crash is 26-year-old Austin resident from a Vietnamese family, Sandy Thuy Le. Le was one of the five people listed in critical condition after the incident last Thursday. She died on Monday surrounded by her family.

Rashad Charjuan Owens, 21. from Kileen, Texas has been charged with capital murder for the incident and is held in lieu of $3 million bond. Police said Owens fled from a sobriety checkpoint when he crashed through a barricade and then plowed down pedestrians who were outside the Mohawk music club.

Two other victims, 35-year-old Dutchman Steven Craenmehr and 27-year-old Jamie West of Austin were killed at the scene.
