Of those, 46.5% are Protestants, 20.8% are Catholics with other Christian faiths making up the rest.
More and more Americans do not identify with any organized religion. That population jumped from 16.1% in 2007 to 22.8% in 2014.
Within that segment, 3.1% identify themselves as atheists, 4% agnostics, and 15.8% nothing in particular.
