Johns Hopkins Student Body Votes ‘No’ To Chick-fil-A

The Student Government Association at Johns Hopkins University has recently voted to oppose the opening of any Chick-fil-A on campus, should that possibility arise in the future, due to perceived anti-gay comments made by the company’s CEO.

Many students at Johns Hopkins University have expressed their opposition to the possibility of a Chick-fil-A being opened near the campus due to the company CEO’s opposition to gay marriage.

This consensus was made official in a recent vote of the Student Government Association where members sided 18-8 in a resolution disapproving a possible store.

Although their decision doesn’t constitute a ban, they would prefer the school consider other chicken restaurants first.
