Though the Readme states not to ask about the name, I assume it is referring to the name of the level designer Fontaine. This level has three names, one being the standard Fonti and another being the capitalized FONTI. A third is used in-game, Fonti.MAP. For some reason, Fontaine decided to put a MAP extension on the name intended to be used in the level.

This level is inspired by the work of Dalias, who was actually the level designer who created the previous map (Flooded Tele-X!). Though inspired by that level, I see some serious differences between this level and the aforementioned level.

This level has a large underwater section, though it is entirely linear and thus can be a pain in such a Deathmatch based setting. One of the spawn points is even in this section. The Grenade Launcher is pretty much pointless in the Water and in large rooms, both basically describing the map. This means navigating to the end of the Water tunnel can be pretty worthless, it is better to duck in quickly to get the Yellow Armor and possibly the Super Nailgun. Double-Barrelled Shotguns are placed generously around the map, though all are virtually useless in such a wide expanse.

The Rocket Launcher is not readily available like the map the level designer was influenced by. There is an Elevator which is pretty visible that leads to the section containing a Rocket Launcher and some Rockets. The Elevator must be initially triggered by hitting a Shootable Button, after shooting the Button once the Elevator shall always lower to allow access to the Rocket Launcher platform. Once someone figures out how to reach the Rocket Launcher, they can quickly dominate the map due to the relative weakness of everything else and the linear nature of half the map.

Triggering the Rocket Launcher platform is not exactly easy for those unaware of what to do. The platform is extremely visible, the elevator is pretty visible, and you can quickly assume that a Button is needed to lower the Elevator. You don't want to know how many times I circled the map, hunting for a small button or other protuberance that would give me a clue to its location. Don't bother trying to look for it, the Button is virtually invisible and will probably only be shot at by those that are aware of its location.

To access the Button, look to the wall between the staircase leading to the upper platform and the dock in the main room of the map. Look upwards towards the corroded metal section between the tile section and sky. Fire about halfway on the wall to hit the Shootable Button, I would advise something like a Shotgun with a decent spread to allow for better chances of hitting it (the Button is pretty small). I find this Button to be pretty unfair, giving no clue to its location while being extremely small to allow for little error.

Another secret area of the map can only be accessed by Rocket Jumping. What is odd about this idea is that there are no 15 Health / 25 Health / 100 Health in this level, meaning you are pretty much at a loss in regards to restoring any Health lost in the Rocket Jump. Getting to this section in the sky will allow for more Rockets and a Red Armor, though I am unsure if the damage is worth the rewards due to the much more accessible Yellow Armor.
