00:00 Crocodiles can come vertically out of the water,
00:02 nearly their whole body length if the water's deep enough.
00:06 This is Graham, our gorgeous saltwater crocodile.
00:13 Right now, you can get a good look at him.
00:16 What an absolute dinosaur he truly is.
00:19 Crocodiles were actually related to archaeosaurs.
00:23 They really are like modern-day dinosaurs.
00:25 Now, Graham here has a bit of a history at Australia Zoo.
00:29 About 10 years ago, when I was three years old,
00:32 we had a big flood that came through the zoo.
00:35 My dad and his best mate, Wes,
00:38 were in the crocodile enclosure, in Graham's enclosure,
00:42 and were clearing the debris off of the fence line.
00:45 Graham snuck up behind Wes and grabbed him,
00:48 drilled him into the fence line,
00:50 grabbed his backside and part of his leg.
00:52 So Dad jumped onto Graham,
00:54 wrestled him off of Wes, and Wes could escape the enclosure.
00:59 If it wasn't for Dad in with Wes,
01:02 he probably wouldn't have lived, to tell the tale.
01:05 Saltwater crocodiles are the largest reptile,
01:08 the largest crocodilian on planet Earth.
01:11 They have 64 very long, sharp teeth
01:15 designed for penetrating their prey item.
01:18 These crocodiles actually have a jaw pressure of...
01:21 What is it? It's...
01:22 3000 pounds per square inch.
01:25 They can actually swim almost as fast as dolphins.
01:28 Yeah, it's true. So what they'll do
01:30 is they'll tuck their legs in by their sides
01:33 and they can propel themselves with that big tail.
01:36 Now, keep in mind, crocodiles are gorgeous animals,
01:39 but, Robert, would they make good pets?
01:41 No, I think you can already see that.
01:43 It's true. Just have a look at him.
01:45 You would not want a crocodile in your backyard.
01:47 Graham is a stunning crocodile,
01:50 and we've got even more animals to show you here at Australia Zoo.
01:55 So we'll see you next time.
01:57 And remember to subscribe to the Pet Collective channel.
02:01 You beauty.
02:02 Have a look at that. He's awesome.
