00:19 Are onions bad for my ferret?

00:21 I hope you're not giving your ferret onions, because those are no good.

00:24 Onions have something in them called disulfides.

00:27 This can cause hemolytic anemia.

00:28 A small amount of onion can be very bad for a very small ferret.

00:33 No onions for your ferret.

00:48 So here's what I would suggest.

00:50 Before we can diagnose a problem, let's make sure there's no medical issue first.

00:56 Then we can talk about behavior.

00:58 So take him to a veterinarian, get him checked out, then we'll get a chance to talk.

01:16 A lot of cats will have leftover instinct and traits and behaviors from their ancestors.

01:23 So that feeling of kneading is very similar to our feeling of rolling around in the bed

01:29 in the morning or taking a good stretch.

01:32 It just feels good and it's leftover from our ancestors.

01:35 So don't worry about a thing.

01:37 That's totally normal.

01:38 Diane D., a Facebook fan, asks, "My cat only eats dry food.

01:43 If I switch to wet food, will my cat lose weight?"

01:46 Well, Diane D., it's not that simple.

01:50 But I will start by saying this.

01:52 For the most part, cats becoming overweight or obese is not a product of the dry food.

01:59 It's a product of leaving the dry food out all day.

02:02 Hey, Diane D., if you put me in front of a buffet, I would eat all day too.

02:06 So let's do this.

02:08 Let's make the food in regimented amounts in the morning and in the night.

02:13 People tend to do that with wet food, which makes it a lot easier for your cat to stay

02:18 slim.
