00:00 My name is Anne and this is my Border Collie Flurry and this is our story.
00:06 I have had Flurry for seven years since she was a puppy. I got her when she was
00:13 eight weeks old. In the sport of agility Flurry's strengths are she's fast and
00:18 she's smart and she's a naturally gifted jumper. She's just a lovely jumper.
00:23 When I got Flurry she was a very independent as a puppy but through training and
00:28 running agility she has learned to look for me so now she's my my special girl.
00:33 It's the bond and the the fun of solving problems and and working together as a
00:39 team that's the wonderful thing about agility. One thing is teaching the dog
00:42 the obstacles but the fun the other fun part is teaching the dog to communicate
00:47 with you and you direct it around the course. The course itself of the day is a
00:51 new challenge each time so it's a new puzzle each time and a new challenge
00:57 each time to get your dog around that course successfully. When you train a dog
01:01 and run agility with a dog you develop a really strong bond with that dog
01:06 and it's about having fun and the dog the dog comes first and the dog's health
01:12 and the dog's welfare always come first. Flurry is one of my best
01:17 friends. We love each other. We spend all our time together. She's
01:23 loose in the house and and goes with me everywhere I go so it's a large
01:30 part of my life and my social life.
