Sofia Vergara’s Ex-Fiance Sues To Keep Their Frozen Embryos

According to reports, Nick Loeb is suing former fiancée Sofia Vergara in an effort to guarantee that she will not destroy the two embryos they made together and have since kept frozen.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara is being sued by her ex-fiancé Nick Loeb over the two remaining frozen embryos from the time when they were a couple. 

According to recently obtained court documents filed under pseudonyms, Loeb, as John Doe, wants a legal guarantee that they will not be destroyed. 

Vergara, listed as Jane Doe, on the other hand, does not want to keep them since the two are no longer together. 

The two female embryos were created with his sperm and her eggs in November 2013 as part of a joint effort to have a child through in vitro fertilization. 

Two previous attempts to implant embryos into a surrogate failed, and the pair broke up before the remaining ones could be used.
