US ambassador Mark Lippert attacked in Seoul by crazy razor-wielding unificationist

The US ambassador to South Korea was wounded after being attacked by a razor wielding Korean man in Seoul on Thursday morning.
US ambassador to South Korea, Mark Lippert was attacked during a breakfast function at the Sejong Cultural Institute at about 7:40 a.m., AFP and BBC reported.
A Korean man who reportedly had a razor blade concealed in his right hand yelled “South and North Korea should be reunified!” before attacking Lippert.
The man was apprehended at the scene. Lippert received injuries to the right side of his face and left wrist, according to the New York Times.
The attacker reportedly told South Korean media that his actions were in protest against the annual joint military exercise between US and South Korea that began this week.
