North Korea's activities at border 'not threatening' – South Koreans  Residents in South Korea said on Tuesday (June 18) that they don't feel threatened when North Korean soldiers cross the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) or when there are landmine explosions near the border.  Tourists and South Korean residents who were seen visiting Imjingak Pavilion near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on Tuesday said they do not consider North Korea’s military activities or Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Pyongyang to be a security threat.  North Korean soldiers breached the MDL on Tuesday morning and briefly moved back north after warning shots were fired by the South, according to Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS). North Korean soldiers also suffered multiple casualties while working due to the explosion of landmines in DMZ, the JCS added.
