Images Show Koalas Enjoying First Class Service On Qantas Flight

To publicize the journey of four koalas from Australia to Singapore, photos show them getting nothing short of the star treatment in the first class of a Qantas airplane.

The koalas’ native habitat is much of Eastern Australia where their favorite eucalyptus trees are in abundance, but now a few of these cute marsupials are being sent abroad as envoys.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Singapore's independence, Australia is loaning the city-state with four koalas.

The animals will be featured at Singapore Zoo for at least six months.

Their journey has been publicized with photos of the animals sitting in first class on a Qantas Airways plane while being served sparkling water and eucalyptus leaves by flight attendants.

Though it made for a great photo-op, the koalas will actually fly in specially designed crates that will be kept in cargo.

The custom crates are said to be climate controlled and feature a tree.
