I've frequently seen cases where the ally refuses to go into certain rooms beyond just the first panel, usually the case with shops. Enemies are similar. There's no barricade in the way, just very buggy AI. This case is much more extreme. That idiot companion wants to go into a certain room when I don't want him that way so he kind of "throws a fit". When I toss him into another room from the hallway, he absolutely will not move because the AI has him trying to get to a certain area and that area is blocked or in a different direction. This is the worst I've seen of the AI. A lot of times, I see the ally randomly wandering through the same room or just going around in circles. It seems like the designers didn't really care much about the AI as it shouldn't be this bad!
