The Real USA - Young immigrants on hunger strike

Young immigrants in New York City recently began a hunger strike as part of their fight for the approval of the New York Dream Act. Their parents can't afford the costs of higher education, and this bill would allow 5,000 students to receive financial aid. The bill has become a political football, however, and the youth feel that the political parties have deceived them with empty promises. They insist that they urgently need support if they are to obtain a higher education. Karina Cartagena reports for teleSUR.
