The campaign continues to pressure U.S. President Barack Obama to end his posturing against Venezuela. More than six million people have signed a petition demanding that Obama rescind his executive order that deems Venezuela a threat to U.S. national security. In a televised interview, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced that 4.5 million Tweets have also been posted with the same demand. Signatures are also being collected in Russia as well as many other nations. Signature and Tweets will be presented to President Obama in the Summit of the Americas in Panama City on April 10. The goal is 10 million signatures. teleSUR
