A man in Washington state is being hailed as a hero for preventing a little boy from darting into traffic.
A man in Washington state is being hailed as a hero for preventing a little boy from darting into traffic. Surveillance footage captured the Good Samaritan, identified as Sean Deeds, jumping out of his own vehicle and standing in front the boy, preventing him from bolting straight into traffic.
Once the police got there and Deeds saw that the boy was safe, he got in his car and drove away.
The police officer wasn't able to catch his name.
The Federal Way Police Department shared the video of this heroic act and asked viewers if they recognized the man so officers could personally thank him.
Shortly thereafter, Deeds was found. The officers as well as the child's mother got to say thank you.
