Woman’s Dying Wish Trip Included A Visit With Rembrandt

A Dutch charity that grants wishes to terminally ill, bed-ridden patients took a few recipients on a special trip to Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum which included a private viewing of the very popular Rembrandt exhibit.

The work of 17th century Dutch artist Rembrandt, considered one of the greatest of all time, continues to make an impact on people today. 


In fact, it was the dying wish of a terminally ill 78-year old woman to see his works, and she was able to enjoy an almost private viewing of a current exhibit at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.  


The wish came true on March 3rd when the Dutch charity Stichting Ambulance Wens transported her and a few other recipients to the museum during a special trip.


They were able to view Rembrandt’s works, including his famous Self-Portrait with Tw
