Welcome to Atomun - TeleSUR's program on science and technology in Latin America, focusing on the human side of science and technology at the service of progress. Our presenter Danny Perez Diaz tells us that Mozilla Firefox has just celebrated its 10th anniversary as one of the most popular exploration and navigation systems on the Internet, and its new 33.1 version has many new privacy functions. We also learn that the European Space Agency plans to establish a Moon base using 3D printers, where four astronauts will work. The robot Philae has found organic compounds in Comet 67-P, while an interconnected system among black holes separated by thousands of millions of light years was discovered by Chilean astronomers who saw the lines because they form the brightest spots in the Universe. In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a small soccer stadium in the Morro da Mineira Favela is the first in the world to light its court with new driving technology located beneath the field, and in Mexico, a young scientist has created a robotic hand out of waste materials, while on the other side of the globe. Meanwhile, Russia is designing an alternative electronic encyclopedia to Wikipedia. teleSUR
