Otger Dice was an obscure progressive rock/folk musical project from the 1970s involving the release of a single full-length album ‘Garden of Pleasure’ in 1977.
Originally named Zip Fastening (from Oss), this group was renamed in 1974 to Maxwell Blond and a year later split into two bands: Love Damage (later known as Knack) and Otger Dice. The latter was a symphonic rock group featuring: Otto Cooymans (o, p, to Hollander), Anton Verhagen (v, ex-Jug Session), Fred Berger (g, to Lucifer), Fred van Kampen (b, ex-Armand, in 1975 to Plant and replaced by Paul Heppener, ex-Fontessa) and Jan Pijnenburg (dr, ex-Fontessa, to Lucifer). In 1976, after Fred and Jan left the band, the others recorded an LP using replacements Eef Albers (g) and David Kemper (dr), both ex-Focus.
