Prosper — Broken Door 1975 (Germany, Krautrock,Heavy Progressive Rock)
The only LP from the band from Bottrop (North Rhine-Westphalia). The band was formed in 1973 with the following lineup: Jürgen Pluta (keyboards, bass; later joined Wallenstein), Wolfgang Teske (drums), Uli Ingenbold (saxophone, flute), Evert Brettschneider (guitar, ex-Frau Holle), and Matthias Geisen (bass; had played in the beat band The Moods since 1964, as well as in the Galaxies Blues Band and Frau Holle). This lineup disbanded in 1974. In 1975, Matthias Geisen and Evert Brettschneider decided to revive the band and invited experienced and well-known musicians: keyboardist Ernst Müller, guitarist/vocalist Fritz Fey, and drummer Friedhelm Misiejuk, who had played guitar in various beat bands since the 1960s, such as The Rolling Beats. Fey and Misiejuk had once played together in the Oberhausen band Tobogan. Soon, the five musicians were ready to release their own LP, which they did. The band wasn't exactly flush with cash, so keyboardist Müller designed the cover, and Fey wrote the lyrics.
