Muslim-American youth activists feel ostracized

A major theme of Barack Obama's Summit Conference against Extremism was the vulnerability of Muslim youth to extremist propaganda and recruiting. Yet many Muslim youth in the United States are offended by the suppositions underlying the conference, insisting that they are no more likely to approve of tactics such as beheading, than anyone else. The youth say that the surveillance and targeting of Muslim communities should have been part of the debate.
