Gay Dismay as Special Protections for LGBT Workers are Removed by Kansas Govenor Brownback

Tom Witt of Equality Kansas said: “It’s an outrage — an absolute outrage. I can conceive of no justifiable reason for doing this.”

The president of the local PFLAG (parents, families and friends of lesbians and gays) organization said "additional special employment protections are necessary for people in the LGBT community".

The comments came after Kansas Governor Sam Brownback rescinded an order which gave special protection to LGBT state workers
