Tim Duncan, the much celebrated forward for the San Antonio Spurs, passed on wearing a tie during a recent visit to the White House

As 2014’s NBA Championship winners, the San Antonio Spurs earned themselves a visit to the White House, but not all of them were in what many would consider appropriate attire.

Tim Duncan, the celebrated forward for the team, passed on wearing a tie.

He appears to be the only member of the Spurs’ who didn’t, but it was unlikely a political statement or an intention of disrespect.

Duncan is generally not considered a great dresser.

In addition to his numerous basketball titles, he’s also earned himself the distinction of being one of the worst dressed individuals in sports.

So the suit Duncan put on, tie or not, to meet the president was actually quite spiffy.

President Obama didn’t seem to mind the lack of neckwear.

He looked like he was having a great time taking pictures and sharing some laughs with the team.
