Sao Paulo police repress protest against public transport fare hike

Sao Paulo's state police repressed a demonstration held to protest an increase to public transportation fares in the Brazilian state. Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in downtown Sao Paulo to protest the government's decision to raise the fares, while more than 800 heavily armed military policemen followed them.
