A missing 3-week-old baby has been found deceased. On Saturday, the infant, identified as Eliza Delacruz, disappeared from a Long Beach residence, where her parents and uncle were found shot.

Police believe the same person who is behind the shooting is also responsible for removing the child from the house. Just one day after she want missing, Eliza’s body was discovered inside the Imperial Beach dumpster.
Eliza’s three relatives survived the shooting. As of the latest reports, the mother and uncle are in critical but stable condition.
The father received treatment for his injuries but has been released from the hospital. Long Beach police Lieutenant, Lloyd Cox said the victims are afraid the suspect might come back and harm them especially if they publicly speak about the shooting.
At this stage of the investigation, detectives don’t believe the crime was random.
