You Say Party! We Say Die! - Monster video

It's late at night and you're a beautiful young girl wandering alone along the timeless streets of Prague. You don't have a care in the world...except, perhaps, getting away from the nine foot tall giant monster that's chasing you.
Directed by Sean Wainsteim (who recently won an MMVA for Tokyo Police Club's "Cheer it on") this elegantly shot video (with cinematography by Brendan Steacy) for Paper Bag Records, recording artist You Say Party! We Say Die! features lead singer Becky singing and dancing her way through the beautiful architecture of this fabled Czech city. This carefree spirit naturally becomes the obsession of a giant puppet creature who stalks her through the empty cobblestone streets until confronting her on a stairwell in the pouring rain. The two tear at their chests, repeatedly pulling string from their hearts until they become entwined and locked in a feverish dance of escape and control where it becomes difficult to tell who is pulling and leading whom. As the sun rises the two continue their connected dance off into the fairy-tale horizon.
