The cultists want Claire to suffer, deep down I think they know they can't kill her, hell, even Claire can't kill herself. I think their plan is that if they can't end her exactly, they'll end her freedom, attempt to break her spirit. Torture her soul, that sort of thing. They obviously have not done their homework about Claire Wilmenson, which is pretty easy to do really, it's all here, for everyone to see. Claire STILL has no concrete memories, and relearned herself through this creepy ass videos from our scary ass life. We're lucky though, despite the distance that's between so many of us geographically, our bonds can transcend into the supernatural. Even apart, friends like Emma can keep us together, and even Liz, despite her preoccupation with money. It's crazy really, all this insanity started when my girlfriend just got sick. But I guess that's even a lie, it started long before all of us, and now we're torch bearers, kicking ass and saving the world, it's not what any of us planned, but hey we're doing something important. Okay, well, Claire and the girls are, I just try and keep them laughing through hell.
