I love the set up to this Hawking joke. Claude Shires asks the audience if they knew who Stephen Hawking is. How awkward would it have been if Claude was telling the Hawking joke and no one knew who he was. Good thing he had a good background of relatedness to set the joke up. Once we realize who Stephen Hawking is, the Hawking jokes just keep rolling. (no pun intended) This whole bit wasn't actually supposed to be a huge Hawking joke, but rather was set up by saying how everyone is having relationship troubles, Claude was able to use Stephen Hawking jokes as a way to further his point which is something very cool. Many people paid more attention to the Stephen Hawking jokes, than the actual point. To be honest though, I don't know if it's a Stephen Hawking joke, or Steven Hawking jokes. Stephen, is one of those names that could be spelled either Stephen or Steven, and there's no real way of knowing for sure how Mr. Hawking spells his. It's not like you can go up to him, and have him write out how he spells it. That was a Stephen Hawking joke if you guys didn't notice.
