Per Tesla fu fatto un funerale di Stato nella Cattedrale Episcopale di St. John the Divine a West 112th Street, il 12 gennaio a New York City. The Cathedral of St. John è la più grande cattedrale gotica del mondo, più di 2.000 persone hanno partecipato.
