« La Clis à Gampela » is a documentary film ; a focus on 11 disabled french students (Europeans). The 11 children travel to Burkina Faso (Africa), a country rich with fauna and flora, gold and mineral resources ; but a country where the population survives alongside with illeteracy, poverty and diseases.

In the other side, in France, the 11 students live alongside rather with a material comfort, but sad, for, they are stigmatised because of their illness. So is the filmmaker because he is a ’’color-man’’ ; he is a born african, raised by his white american family.

The documentary film is the confrontation between the two visions : the west’s and that of Africa. The shade of cultural values established through dialogues between parents and students from Africa and students and parents from France, in loving interaction and hospitality.
