TV funnyman, Jimmy Fallon is now a father of two children. On Wednesday, the host of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ and his wife Nancy welcomed a baby girl into the world.

Named Frances Cole Fallon, the child weighed 5 pounds 11 ounces and measured 18 and a half inches in length. A rep for the couple told ‘People’ “Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter made her official debut.”

Staffers at ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ issued a statement noting that two of his scheduled airings would be cancelled and reruns will be aired instead.

The statement cited ‘unexpected but delightful circumstances’ as the reason for the cancellations. Both Winnie and Frances were born via surrogate.

The news of Fallon becoming a second time dad broke only hours after he was deemed Entertainment Weekly’s ‘Entertainer of the Year’. Fallon previously gushed about life as a dad and earlier this year, he even published a children’s book titled “Your Baby’s First Word Will Be Dada.”
