The second video in our weekly Cocktail 'How To' Series is a Brandy Sour. Combining Brandy with the contrasting flavours of Sugar and Lemon, and adding egg white for a creamy texture, this cocktail is a great variation on the more common Whisky Sour. The fig garnish and a hint of Black Walnut bitters give the cocktail extra depth.
INGREDIENTS:
5cl Brandy 2,5cl Lemon Juice 1cl Sugar Syrup 1 Egg White Walnut Bitters Fig
RECIPE: Combine the brandy, lemon juice, sugar and egg white and shake for an extended period of time on ice. Pour into glass and decorate with a quarter fig. Add a few dashes of walnut bitters.
