A man in Las Vegas got what millions of people only dream of – he hit the jackpot at a casino and surprisingly, he has decided not to keep any of it.

The Las Vegas resident was entertaining an out of town guest, and decided to take the friend to the Rampart Casino.

He put $20 in the machine and about five minutes after that he was declared a Megabucks jackpot winner. Later that night, the casino posted a photo to Twitter showing two males holding a check for the exact amount of $14,282,544.21.

On the ‘pay to the order of’ line, no name was mentioned. Instead it was simply made out to ‘Rampart Lucky Local’. That’s because the winner has chosen to remain anonymous.

As for where all the money will go, the man has decided to give it to his church. The congregation has been meeting in a high school gym, so he hopes the cash will help in constructing a new, official building.

If anything from the winnings is left over, it will go to charity. Reportedly, the unidentified man doesn’t gamble often.
