JAMDOWN makes its giant, belated return back to the heart of where it started at Bar 9 Parkside.

Bigger, better and more boozed up than ever the night saw Adelaide's best barista's throw down the gauntlet in mortal kombat (aka, latte art). In a first for the state this time we also teamed up with some of Adelaide best bars to host the first ever coffee cocktail throwdown for the state.

Bar 9's kitchen were also slingin' some burgers and bar food, alongside delicious beers from local craft brewer Vale Ale. Kicking off the night 2012 Australian Barista Champion Craig Simon (Owner of Think Tank Coffee) hosted a cupping of Uber Farm management company Ninety Plus's freshest 2014 offerings. This was followed by public cuppings all night with coffees supplied by Lattore and Dutch, Melbourne Coffee Merchants, Silo and Wolff Coffee Roasters. A free for all barista bar showcasing stunning coffees from all over Australia. Definite highlight, the all but impossible to get your hands on El Salvador Mount KILIMANJARO private farm, owned by rockstar farmer Aida Battle. We were lucky enough to be donated some from Wolff Coffee Roasters in Queensland and this was a definite favorite on the night.

This whole night was an awesome testament to the Adelaide Coffee Scene and it was so amazing to see so many people come out to celebrate all things caffeinated. We were absolutely honored to host such an amazing night. It completely surpassed all our expectations so a massive thank you to all those involved. It's always so humbling to see how far we've come along as an industry here in South Australia.
