National Day of Black Consciousness is celebrated in Brazil

The Leblon beach neighborhood in Brazil is a place where Afro-Brazilians are usually seen only as street vendors for the tourists and the local , primarily white population. However, as part of the National Day of Black Consciousness, members of the Homeless Workers Movement decided to enjoy this public space where they are not generally well received. teleSUR
