48-year-old Wright was reportedly under stress this past summer which may have contributed to the split. It was during that time she was working on the Netflix series in Baltimore while spending her free time in Los Angeles with her children from ex-husband Sean Penn.
A source told Us Weekly “She got swept up in the engagement last Christmas, but then their schedules got crazy and she realized it wasn't the right decision,” while another insider reported, “Ben was kind of immature. She couldn't deal with him anymore.”
There is a 14-year age gap between Wright and Foster. The former couple met in 2011 on the set of ‘Rampart’.
In January of this year, she was spotted wearing an engagement ring. Wright has been married twice in the past. She wed Penn in 1996 and they divorced 14 years later. Prior to him, she was married to Dane Witherspoon.
