The system has been corrupted so as to have children revile education. Get the Federal Government out of Education now. Compulsory Education is wrong, destructive and runs contrary to the human spirit's love of learning, and need for freedom to learn without "compulsory means" and to learn good curriculum, not the lies and propaganda in what Charlotte Iserbyt calls the "Government Propaganda Centers." Iserbyte of course is from Reagan's Department of Education and wrote the book "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America."
Albert Einstein spoke this truth:
"It is, in fact, nothing short of a miracle that the modern methods of instruction have not yet entirely strangled the holy curiosity of inquiry; for this delicate little plant, aside from stimulation, stands mainly in need of freedom; without this it goes to wreck and ruin without fail. It is a very grave mistake to think that the enjoyment of seeing and searching can be promoted by means of coercion and a sense of duty." (In H.
