Lightning Strikes Q1 Building in Surfers Paradise

The Q1 building in Surfers Paradise in Queensland, Australia, is one of the world’s tallest residential buildings. Naturally, a tall building such as this attracts lightning during storms, so it has a large lightning rod on the roof to safely discharge any strikes.
