Golf Cart Reaches 118 Miles Per Hour

Most golf carts move along with a bit of zip, but none come close to the speed achieved by Plum Quick Motors on October 31, 2014. Plum Quick Motors build high performance golf carts and Robby Steen brought one of their buggies to Darlington Dragway racetrack, where he managed to get the buggy up to 118.76 mph, completing a quarter-mile of the track in 12.241 seconds.This achievement surpassed their previous record of 103.65 mph which was verified by Guinness World Records for the worlds fastest golf cart.
