Millionairess Christine Sanders (Carol Alt), learns that her son has been kidnapped by his grandfather (Omar Sharif), a fanatic, Emir, who wants the child to be the next prince of the desert. She hires ex-CIA mercenary Tom Burton (Rutger Hauer), to bring him back. Against the advise of her lawyer (Elliot Gould), she decides to go with him into great danger.
