Playful Puppy Interrupts Weatherman's Forecast

Puppies are playful creatures that can often be very unpredictable. Global Edmonton weatherman Mike Sobel knows that all too well.

As adorable as they are, it's hard to predict what dogs would do in certain situations. Global Edmonton weatherman Mike Sobel knows that all too well.

Recently the Edmonton Humane Society dropped by the news station with a pooch named Ripple. Mike grabbed onto the leash and walked the dog over to the weather board, which is something he commonly does to showcase canines that are up for adoption.

This case was a little different however, as Ripple just wanted to play around. Sobel started off by introducing the pooch and told him to sit.

Ripple didn’t listen at all, as he was seemingly more content munching on his lead. As Sobel talked about the weather, Ripple continued on chewing and made it pretty clear he was trying to start a game of tug of war.

All shreds of professionalism faded as Sobel lost his footing a few times and started laughing. Once those first chuckles escaped, the weatherman had a hard time containing his laughter.

As the pooch was tugging him away from the weather board, Sobel was nearly in hysterics. He somehow managed to deliver the forecast, even after Ripple chewed right through the leash and focused his attention on jumping on Sobel.
