Lance and Lauren were high school sweethearts that married and settled down at The Last Chance Cafe & Motel in the California desert.

Through the years, their hopes and dreams vanished, leaving them with a loveless marriage. Fate steps in one day when Sam, a former writer turned trucker, breaks down at the Last Chance and is forced to stay.

He opens Lauren's eyes to a world that she has only read about. After her husband's infidelity, she begins to discover what could be, if given another chance.
