Voting is underway in Brazil. Opinion polls offered a last-minute surprise yesterday evening, reversing the lead of Marina Silva of the Brazilian Socialist Party as second-place candidate, and giving a slight edge to Aecio Neves of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party. If no candidate receives more than 50% in the first round, the two with the highest totals will face off in the second round, which polls indicate is the most likely variant. Incumbent President Dilma Rousset of the Workers' Party commands an imposing lead over the other two contenders. Stephanie Kennedy reports from Rio de Janairo. teleSUR
