Russia: apartment block blaze in Krasnoyarsk

A fire engulfed an apartment block in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk in Russia on Sunday (21 September).

Emergency crews evacuated the residents from the building and there were no casualties, local media reported.

But firefighters spent several hours battling the blaze at the 25-storey block.

It is not clear how the fire started.
