On Wednesday night’s episode of 'Wheel of Fortune', a math teacher in Silver Spring, Maryland named Sarah Manchester became a million dollar winner.
On Wednesday night’s episode of 'Wheel of Fortune', a math teacher from Silver Spring, Maryland named Sarah Manchester became a million dollar winner.
She solved the bonus round puzzle which had two-words and 12-letters by choosing D-G-H-O. It didn’t take long for her to know the phrase at that point.
Once she said ‘Loud Laughter’ and it was revealed she won the game, the show’s co-host, Pat Sajak looked inside an envelope. Manchester had selected the package randomly by spinning the wheel at the start of the round.
After Sajak saw what was inside her chosen envelope, he asked her ‘Can you use a million dollars?’ Manchester happily screamed and her family joined her on the set as confetti showered their heads.
Following her win, Manchester remarked “This is a once in a lifetime event. I’m just soaking in every minute of it!”
