Scientists digging in Argentina have unearthed the remains of the largest land dinosaur ever definitively recorded.

They’re calling it Dreadnoughtus, and say the mighty beast, which wasn’t even fully grown yet, weighed in at around 65 tons and was over 80 feet long.

That’s the weight equivalent of 12 elephants and the size of a house.

As if its mass wasn’t advantage enough, nature also blessed it with a weaponized tail.

One researcher called the beast ‘impervious’ and said that it probably didn’t fear anything.

Even though it was about 7 times the size of a T-rex, other animals didn’t need to fear ending up on its dinner table as it was determined to be an herbivore.

Given its size, which included a neck of over 35 feet, it could probably have eaten massive amounts of vegetation without even having to move.

Researchers were able to glean quite a bit of information about the giant as a remarkable number of its skeletal bones were discovered.

With over 70 percent of its bone types discovered, the Dreadnoughtus is the best example of large land dinosaurs ever collected.
