Bald Eagles Gather to Feast on Vancouver Island

While working in a fishing village on the west coast of Vancouver Island, Sean Mitre would often observe 30-40 bald eagles, collectively known as a convocation, coming down from nests to feed on fish carcasses. The eagles live in trees surrounding the bay, and Sean decided he wanted a closer look:“I put my GoPro camera down on the rocks one day and this video was the result. I thought it would be interesting to get a close up view of how the eagles interact and just to get some good footage of such a magnificent bird. Credit: YouTube/Sean M
