Teen Lived In Walmart For Four Days Before Being Discovered

Staffers at a Walmart in Corsicana, Texas recently found a teenager living in their store. The 14-year-old had hidden in the building and he went to elaborate lengths to avoid being discovered.
Staffers at a Walmart in Corsicana, Texas recently found a teenager living in their store. The 14-year-old had hidden in the building and he went to elaborate lengths to avoid being discovered.
He built secret compounds and his plan worked.. for four days at least. The teen had two separate makeshift hiding spots. One of which was in an area behind boxes of strollers in the baby aisle.
The other makeshift campsite was located behind large stacks of toilet paper and towels. Customers who had visited the business during those four days never noticed him hiding.
He had enough room in both spots to sleep and store needed items like food, which were taken from the store. The boy made a crack in the back wall of the drink section to swipe some bottles for hydration. He was even able to steal a fish for a pet.
The teen would change his clothes every few hours to avoid standing out and he wore diapers so restroom trips wouldn’t lead to him being detected.
However, staffers discovered a trail of garbage which led right to him. The boy tried, unsuccessfully, to run away when he was caught. Police have since returned him to his family.
