Special children supporting 'Save the Tiger'
Sporting orange wristbands, more than 2000 school children take part in 'Kids for Tigers', a programme organized by Sanctuary Asia and presented by Complan. They participated in a silent walk to show their solidarity for India's national animal - the tiger. This took place at Delhi's India Gate and give a clarion call to the country - "Bagh Bachao, Bharat Bachao". Concerned about the tiger crisis, and the inability of adults to take decisive action, on behalf of one million Indian children, the school students of Delhi along with their teachers and parents pledged to save the tiger and its vanishing forest home.

"For the past one year the children of Delhi have been working hard to help their striped friend. From raising money for forest guards, meeting with rehabilitated poachers in tiger reserves and rallying public support, these children are our real heroes", says Bittu Sahgal, Editor, Sanctuary Asia. "This is our childrens' way of saying - we cannot imagine a world without tigers. Do not allow the tiger to be wiped off the face of our planet.
